Requirements

DotNetPanel doesn't have any special requirements to the hardware. Any modern internet server will be suitable for the installation.

It shows quite good performance results even on Celeron 1.8MHz with 1GB of RAM and 40GB hard drive.

Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Web/Standard/Enterprise editions.
Installed Windows Server 2003 SP1 is recommended (first of all for your own security)

Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express or higher

Pros	Very simple to setup and use. Quick, reliable software that has quite a few features and competitive with other control panels. Support is just awesome as they really do listen to their customers and are always working on new features and minor fixes. Great price.
Cons
Conclusion	Anyone looking at a web hosting control panel to manage their windows server and customers really needs to take a look at this product.

Pros	Incredibly flexible Easy to code against Super support team Quick to support new hosting software Easy to use Fast and reliable Great price
Cons	Some more documentation support is required
Conclusion	Hosting companies can live and die depending upon their chosen control panel. Lucky for us we chose Dot Net Panel after almost being sunk by a close competitor. We have been running DNP for over a year now and I can safely say that a large part of our hosting success is due to those amazing guys at DNP.

Pros	- Easy to install and configure. - The support is 2nd to none. - Perfect for DotNetNuke and other windows application hosting.
Cons	Documentation needs work but is improving
Conclusion	If you are looking for a windows hosting control panel with support that is prepared to listen then don't waste your time with anything else.

Pros	Feature rich, solid, easy to use and easy to administer. Your customers will love you for using DNP. Great support, great community.
Cons	I just wish it had a Linux version so I could ditch cpanel.
Conclusion	I'm so glad I went with DNP, I had looked around for a good control panel that worked in a solid and logical way. Common sense would have said go with the market leader but after testing them agaist DNP (Even in its early 1.5 version days) it really won hands down. Now I wouldn't go back for anything.

Pros	We have DotNetPanel since early 1.x verions. DotNetPanel has the greatest user interface. It is plain simple and logic. We have many customers because they like DotNetPanel. It was a smart move to migrate to DotNetPanel. Our hosting business has grown very much and now we are starting to sell DNP Hosted Exchange Services too.

Pros	love DotNetPanel because it is developed with c# and sql server 2005. I'm a developer too and i hated other php control panels. I have never managed to install php on windows. I'm not an experimented administrator and i don't want to be. I'm just a developer. DotNetPanel team installed their control panel for me for free and i didn't have to stay 1 week to configure a developer server
Cons
Conclusion	You should see how active they are on their community forums.

Pros	DotNetPanel is one of the best and fastest AJAX enabled control panel that I've seen. It has lot of features such as built-in file zip/unzip capabilities, database backup/restore facility and much more. The control panel enable a customer to directly install a wide range of applications such as DotNetNuke, Community Server, WordPress, Joomla very easily. Resellers can completely customize the look and feel of the product. The vendor provides excellent support through web based forum and they constantly updates the product based on feedback from customers. The product is extremely light weight and secured.
Cons
Conclusion	It is an ideal product for all serious web hosting providers.

Pros	We have been using DNP for about one year now. It has helped us save time and focus on product support. The other control panels we have tried did the opposite, consumed our time and did not work.
Cons	Too little documentation, but the forum always gives you answers.
Conclusion	We love this product and our customers love it.
